What makes an NBA team a strong candidate to make a big trade? 

Well, normally, two types of teams make big deals. We’re looking at either teams that overperformed or teams that underperformed.

In other words, we’re looking for a team that’s trying to either take a step forwards, or a step back. 

The Chicago Bulls fall into the latter category. This is a veteran-heavy team who had playoff aspirations n 2022-23. Unfortunately, they fell well short of their goals. 

Will they trade Zach LaVine as a result? It’s hard to say. LaVine is young enough to retool around, but on the other hand, the Bulls could get quite the return for his services.
