Apparently, the Toronto Raptors are apprehensive about blowing their roster up ahead of the NBA Draft.

It’s being rumored that the Raptors don’t think they’re far from being competitive. Some have suggested that they don’t think, talent-wise, that they’re much worse off than the Miami Heat. 

That’s one way to look at it. The Raptors may be right. On the other hand, there are plenty of teams who could make the same claim.

There’s more parity around the NBA than ever before. It still holds true that the Raptors missed the playoffs this season.

They got eliminated in the first round the year before. This is not a team that is trending toward a Finals appearance. 

Could they send OG Anunoby to the Sacramento Kings as a result?
