The Washington Wizards are in serious talks with the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat on a Bradley Beal trade, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Beal has a no-trade clause in his contract, so he gets to pick his next team.

The Wizards have granted Beal and his representatives permission to speak with teams the three-time All-Star shooting guard has interest in being traded to.

Beal averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists this past season while shooting 50.6% from the field, 36.5% from beyond the arc and 84.2% from the free-throw line. The 29-year-old is one of the best shooters and scorers in the NBA.

The Heat made it all the way to the 2023 NBA Finals, where they lost to the Denver Nuggets in five games. Meanwhile, the Suns lost to the Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals in six games. Miami has All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, while Phoenix has superstars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.
