It’s been an interesting NBA career for DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls. It’s been a storied one as well.
Most NBA players follow a similar trajectory. They come into the league raw, age into their prime, and then they start to decline. DeRozan has been different.
Somehow, he hasn’t stopped improving. DeRozan seems to enter every NBA season with a new trick in his bag. He’s been more effective in his 30s than he has in any stage of his career to date.
Yet, he’s also a flawed player. DeRozan has failed to become a reliable floor spacer.
Still, one would assume that in the right system, he could use his vast range of other skills to great effect.
Could the Indiana Pacers provide that system?
