One NBA writer has come up with a way for the Golden State Warriors to acquire Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards.

Jesse Cinquini of ClutchPoints proposed that the Warriors send Jordan Poole, Moses Moody, Gary Payton II and a first-round pick in 2026 to the Wizards for Beal.

“A top six of Stephen Curry, Bradley Beal, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney should have Warriors fans drooling just thinking about it,” Cinquini wrote. “After all, that group has a terrific blend of offensive and defensive firepower and could be the best starting lineup in the entire NBA. Jonathan Kuminga would loom as a major two-way X-factor, too.

“If the Warriors could pull off this hypothetical trade and land Beal without sacrificing one of their Big Three, they’ll have as good of a chance as any team of winning the 2024 NBA title. So here’s to hoping that the Warriors pull the trigger on a Beal trade this summer and acquire the Wizards star.”

The Warriors have appealed to Beal in the past, according to Fred Katz of The Athletic. The Wizards could trade Beal this offseason, and since the three-time All-Star has a no-trade clause in his contract, Beal would get to choose where he gets traded to.

“The Golden State Warriors appealed to him in the past, according to sources,” Katz wrote. “Throughout his short stint with Team USA in 2021, Draymond Green made sure to remind him (you may be surprised, more than once) of what joining a many-times champion could do for him.”

A Florida product, Beal averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists for the Wizards this past season while shooting 50.6% from the field, 36.5% from beyond the arc, and 84.2% from the free-throw line. He’s regarded as one of the best shooters and scorers in the NBA.
