This pair was reliable for several years in Cleveland. Eventually, Irving decided that he wanted to lead his own team. We’ve all seen how that’s been going. 

Irving himself seems to understand. He stated that his career had been more difficult since leaving James. Could they reunite this summer? 

Time will tell. Recent rumors have said that the Los Angeles Lakers aren’t necessarily interested in reuniting the pair. On the other hand, this is smokescreen season.
