The San Antonio Spurs hit the NBA jackpot. They’re about to draft Victor Wembanyama.
This is a generational prospect. Wembanyama is between 7’3 and 8 feet tall, depending on who you ask. Jokes aside, the fact that he moves as well as he does at his size makes him one of the most enticing prospects in NBA history.
Very few big men are as agile as Wembanyama. With that said, he may not even see himself as a big man. Apparently, Wembanyama wants to play a 4.
That makes sense. Wembanyama will have a size advantage at that spot without giving up much of a mobility advantage.
Moreover, he may wish to avoid the physicality that’s required to play the 5. The Spurs may go out and get a big man this summer.
What about Jarrett Allen of the Cleveland Cavaliers?
