We’re not saying Johnson would replace Barrett. On the other hand, we’re not…not saying that, either.
It doesn’t really matter. Teams can play multiple wings in the same rotation. If Barrett has a breakout season, he’ll be able to do so alongside Johnson.
By contrast, it’s more difficult to play multiple traditional big men in the same rotation. That’s part of the equation for the Knicks here.
By now, it seems like they’ll have to choose between Hartenstein and Mitchell Robinson.
