We don’t know what might happen in the NBA this summer. All we can do is speculate.

It’s about reading the tea leaves. When you’re trying to project an offseason, you’re looking for combustible situations. A glance around the current NBA finds a couple of interesting ones. 

For example, look at the Boston Celtics. Will they give Jaylen Brown his supermax contract? Or, will they decide that they can’t invest so much cap space in a pair of wings in Brown and Tatum? 

Will the Charlotte Hornets select Scoot Henderson with the second overall pick?

Or, will they decide that they can’t build around two point guards? In that event, they could select Brandon Miller. 

Or, they could trade LaMelo Ball to the Celtics.
