Victor Wembanyama is not a San Antonio Spur yet, but it’s an obvious NBA outcome at this point.
It feels funny to even acknowledge that. We all know that the Spurs will select Wembanyama. Right now, it’s a formality.
After all, Wembanyama is not a normal prospect. He’s generational. If he hits his ceiling, Wembanyama might be one of the best centers in NBA history.
If, that is, he’s even a center. Apparently, Wembanyama would prefer to play the 4.
If that’s so, the Spurs may want to go get a big man to pair with him this summer.
How about Clint Capela of the Atlanta Hawks?
