It’s hard to say what the Spurs will do this summer. They could justify a number of directions. 

One thing is certain: the Spurs will draft Victor Wembanyama. They’ve got the first overall pick in the NBA draft. Nobody is seriously entertaining any possibility other than the Spurs selecting the generational prospect. 

What should they do next? The Spurs could slow-burn their rebuild. Having solid lottery odds in the next draft would not kill them. On the other hand, they could put their foot on the gas.
