Often, fans want their NBA team to blow up their core. It’s understandable. When a team appears to have hit a ceiling, it’s discouraging.
On the other hand, fans don’t always know what they’re wishing for, either.
Rebuilding is a long, difficult process. General managers know this. Often, they’re apprehensive to rebuild for that very reason.
Take the Chicago Bulls. Should they rebuild? Probably. Will they? That’s a different matter.
This front office hasn’t shown much of an appetite for the process.
Could they acquire Dejounte Murray of the Chicago Bulls with that in mind?
