Some NBA players are hard to value. How good are they?
Typically, we’re talking about players with some elite skills – and some glaring flaws. Can you build around those elite skills and mitigate those flaws? Is it worth the trouble?
At the moment, we’re thinking of Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics. This is one of the best shot creators in the NBA.
It doesn’t matter how you defend him – Brown can hit the shot.
He can’t dribble. Brown doesn’t pass much, either. This summer, the Celtics need to make a decision. Should they offer Brown a supermax extension, or move on from him?
