Isaac is almost always injured. He just cannot seem to get his body right. By now, he’s looking like he’ll be one of the NBA’s great “what if” stories.

By contrast, Barrett isn’t on that trajectory. He may simply underwhelm relative to expectations.
Had Barrett lived up to the traditional expectations for a 3rd overall pick alongside Jalen Brunson, perhaps the Knicks could have gone further.
