A team that wasn’t supposed to go far ends up making a deep playoff run. With that said, this year is offering a particularly compelling tale.
Give it up for the Miami Heat. This team was not supposed to be here. The Heat made the playoffs via the play-in tournament. Now, they’re a game away from the NBA Finals.
Perhaps most impressively, they’ve done it all without Tyler Herro. This was supposed to be one of their leading scorers.
Somehow, the Heat haven’t needed him to make this run.
Could they trade him to the Orlando Magic this summer?
