Life moves quickly in the modern NBA. In fact, some might say that it’s a little too fast.
The bar for success has gotten immeasurably high. These days, there are calls for teams to blow up their core at every turn. Any team that doesn’t win an NBA title is a candidate to make major changes.
For example, look at the Boston Celtics. This team made it to the NBA Finals last year. They made it to the Conference Finals this season.
They’ve got two star players in their prime. Why would they blow it up?
