Every NBA team needs a culture. What exactly does that mean? 

It means they need principles. Successful NBA teams know what they’re trying to do, and they do it. Often, they need to acquire players in order to make that happen. 

With that in mind, the Houston Rockets don’t have much of a culture. How could they? This team has been tanking for several seasons now.

With a direct goal of maximizing their lottery odds, the Rockets haven’t been able to establish a culture. 

The Boston Celtics have. On the other hand, it feels like their culture is suffering a hit lately.

If this team doesn’t make a historic 3-0 comeback against the Miami Heat, it’ll be because they’ve looked disconnected.
