Why The Miami Heat Do The Deal 

That may seem like an unfair conclusion to some. Not us. 

Tyler Herro hasn’t played a playoff game this season. The Heat are overwhelmingly likely to make the NBA Finals. What other conclusion is there to draw? 

With that in mind, they should move Herro this summer. If the front office agrees, this is a good deal. The Heat could use a stretch big like Bamba, and Beasley replaces much of Herro’s movement shooting.

Still, the most important asset that the Heat are acquiring here is the Lakers’ unprotected 2029 pick.

We just touched on James’ age – there’s no reason to believe the Lakers won’t be in the lottery by 2029.
