NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley hilariously roasted the Boston Celtics after the Miami Heat won Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals down in South Beach.
After Heat guard Gabe Vincent told the NBA on TNT crew that the Celtics wouldn’t lay down in Game 4, Barkley said, ” Clearly you didn’t watch the game tonight.”
The Celtics lost Game 3 by a final score of 128-102. Boston was accused of quitting in the third quarter by many people on social, as Miami outscored the Cs 32-17.
No team in NBA history has come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs. The Celtics’ season could end in Game 4, which is on Tuesday, May 23. It would be a bitter end to what was a special regular season.

The Celtics won 57 games in the regular season under Joe Mazzulla, who replaced Ime Udoka. Both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown made All-NBA teams and Boston beat the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers in the first two rounds of the playoffs to reach the conference finals again.
However, the Celtics have been thoroughly outplayed by the Heat on both sides of the all.
“As tough as tonight was, we just got to try to move on,” Tatum said after Game 3. “Prepare, get ready, practice, film and stuff for tomorrow. Obviously, we’re in a tough position. But we’ve got to have some pride, bounce back and just be better come Tuesday.”
The Celtics have never been swept in the playoffs during the Tatum-Brown era. The two All-Stars, who have not shot the ball well versus the Heat, will need to play like superstars in Game 4 to save Boston’s season.

If the Celtics get swept, some insiders believe Mazzulla could be fired.
“I just didn’t have them ready to play,” Mazzulla said after Game 3. “I have to get them in a better place to be ready to play and that’s on me.”
