Sometimes, a good thing gets away. If you’re lucky, you’ll get it back. Sometimes, NBA teams let someone go.
They say that if you love something, you should let it go. If it comes back, it’s truly yours. We think that’s risky. If you love something, consider holding onto it.
In time, they may regret it. We’ve seen teams let players walk, only to realize that they could have used them down the road.
For example, the Los Angeles Lakers let Alex Caruso go. Luckily, Austin Reaves was able to take his role.
With that said, Reaves is due to hit free agency this summer.
Could the Lakers get Caruso back to replace him?
