Former NBA MVP James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Name a more iconic duo. 

Of course, Harden left the organization that he called home for so long. He even did so in an unceremonious fashion. Harden’s departure was undeniably messy. 

Still, give him credit. Harden stayed with the Rockets for 9 years while his peers were assembling super teams.

Nobody can deny that he tried to make it work in Houston. 

In fact, it’s heavily rumoured that he’ll be returning there. If Harden signs with the Houston Rockets this summer, by now, it won’t come as a surprise to anybody. 

Could he throw a curveball and force his way to the New York Knicks instead?
