NBA stardom is hard to come by. For some, the bar is especially high. If casual fans haven’t heard of you, you’re not a star.
Others are a little more lax with their criteria.
For example, take Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards. NBA fans would call him a star. At the same time, he’s not necessarily a household name.
The same holds true for Julius Randle of the New York Knicks. These are both players who have accomplished mighty feats in their careers.
Nonetheless, they won’t be looked at as superstars by some.
