Of all the teams that could have landed the second pick in the NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets may have been the most interesting.
After all, the presumptive second-overall pick is Scoot Henderson. He’s a point guard. Meanwhile, the Hornets already have LaMelo Ball.
What will they do? Who knows. They’ll certainly have a range of options. There’s reason to believe Henderson and Ball could co-exist.
Meanwhile, the Hornets could simply take Brandon Miller – he’s a perfect complement for Ball.
On the other hand, the Hornets could get bold. They could trade LaMelo Ball. There have already been whispers of his discontent with the organization. Why not start over with a new franchise point guard?
If the Hornets opt to do so, here are three teams that we think should be looking at the star point guard.
