Some feel that LeBron James is the best NBA player of all time. Others disagree. They may prefer Michael Jordan. Some even prefer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or Bill Russell.

Still, we can all agree on this: when your name is listed with those greats, you’re the type of player a team should build around. 

Luckily, there’s always been a blueprint for building around James. it’s simple. In order to leverage James’ elite playmaking, it’s best to surround him with quality shooters. 

Initially, the Los Angeles Lakers seemingly missed that memo. Luckily, they took care to maximize the roster around James at this year’s trade deadline.

Still, it feels like this team would benefit from the addition of another elite shooter.
