There are countless examples of promising careers that were utterly destroyed by the injury bug.
Here’s hoping Jonathan Isaac of the Orlando Magic can avoid being one of those stories. When healthy, this looks like a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
Frankly, a healthy Isaac does not have a ceiling. Unfortunately, he might have the worst injury record in the NBA.
The Magic couldn’t trade him for value if they wanted to right now – unless they were willing to attach a first-round pick to his contract, that is.
In that event, they could land Buddy Hield of the Indiana Pacers.
