Hear us out. Markelle Fultz has flashed high feel. He should be able to pick up on the nuances of this offense more readily than Jordan Poole has.

Meanwhile, this deal has the Warriors getting off of Poole’s extension. Issac will be on an expiring contract next season, too. 

With that said, acquiring Isaac could be a coup. If he’s able to get healthy, he could be a long-term replacement for Draymond Green. If not, he’s an expiring contract.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic need a guard who can shoot. They can spare Fultz’s playmaking in order to acquire one. As a team with a lower standard, they’ll be able to deal with Poole’s lapses in judgment, too. 

With that said the Warriors might prefer to simply bring a useful veteran in.
