LeBron James is one of the best NBA players we’ve ever seen. You don’t have to like it, but you have to accept it. 

For a long time, James was a staple of the NBA Finals. He made it in virtually every season. With that in mind, there is a well-established blueprint for succeeding with James – surround him with shooting. 

The Los Angeles Lakers seemingly missed that memo – or at least, they were late to receive it. When this team tried to pair James with Russell Westbrook, plenty of people saw the writing on the wall. 

Eventually, the Lakers did too. This team moved Westbrook at the deadline and improved the shooting around James in the process.

Still, they could stand to make further improvements in that area. 

Could they do so by acquiring Bojan Bogdanovic of the Detroit Pistons?
