The Los Angeles Clippers were supposed to be world-beaters. Instead, the NBA world beat them.
Excuses are always abundant when a team gets eliminated. Still, the Clippers have plenty to make. This team was a victim of circumstance as much as anyone.
Kawhi Leonard got hurt. Paul George was in an out of the lineup. No team can win without their two best players in the NBA. It simply isn’t possible.
With that said, the Clippers should run it back and pray for better health. Moving one of their wings would force them to sell low.
Why not hold onto this core and enhance the talent around them?
Could they do so by acquiring Terry Rozier of the Charlotte Hornets?
