The Nets sent four first-round picks and three pick swaps to the Houston Rockets in exchange for James Harden just a couple of years ago. 

This is familiar. The Nets once surrendered a similar bundle of first-round picks to acquire Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce from the Boston Celtics. To this day, the Celtics have built a contender largely around the players they ended up selecting.
