Canada is not known as a hotbed for basketball. Perhaps the NBA should be drawing more attention in the region than it already is.
It will never usurp the United States of America. Even Europe will remain a larger source of NBA talent – although, in fairness, that’s an entire continent.
Still, Canada is beginning to produce more NBA talent. For example, look at Andrew Wiggins of the Golden State Warriors. He’s a key team member that’s still in the NBA playoffs.
So is R.J. Barrett of the New York Knicks. Although, his role is less critical to his team’s success.
Still, the Canadian wing has flashed plenty of potential in the NBA.
Could the two team up on the Knicks next season?
