Los Angeles Lakers Receive: F/C Draymond Green

If the Warriors want to replace Green, this deal will appeal to them. After all, Vanderbilt is a comparable young player. This is a multi-positional defender and a fantastic passer.

The Warriors could groom him to be the Green of their next era. Meanwhile, Beasley is a useful player n the short term. A movement shooter like this will thrive in Golden State’s system.

This deal shouldn’t kill their present, and it enhances their future. Still, the Lakers are getting the best player in this trade.

That would be the assumption in any deal involving Green. With that in mind, the Lakers may not want to surrender two rotation players in a bid to improve next year.

The Warriors would also get Mo Bamba to add more salary to make the trade work better financially. Bamba hasn’t impacted much since being traded to the Lakers but remains a project.

With that in mind, this next deal may suit them.
