Following an epic Game 7 win over the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors have advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals. Next up for the defending NBA champs is a meeting with LeBron James and the LA Lakers.
LeBron is a foe the Warriors know all too well from his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. After multiple showdowns in the NBA Finals, they will now be adding another chapter to their storied rivalry.
Leading up to this series, Warriors forward Draymond Green was asked his thoughts on facing LeBron yet again. He is excited for what’s ahead as it will be a meeting of two of the game’s best players in LeBron and Steph Curry.
“It’s going to be epic,” Warriors forward Draymond Green said. “You got Steph, you got Bron doing it all over again.”

Along with feeling excited, Green is also feeling a bit nostalgic. He followed up these comments by telling people to appreciate what they have in front of them. At this point in their careers, there is no guarantee that this clash of titans will happen again.
“We get so caught up in what’s the next thing, we don’t appreciate the current. Then you get to the next thing and you’re looking back, like, ‘Man, I wish we still had that. I wish we could still see this.'”
The meetings between LeBron and the Warriors never disappointed in the past and is sure to deliver this time around as well. While Golden State is looking to defend its title, the Lakers are looking to get back to the finals since their victory in 2020.

Game 1 of this series will be played in Golden State on Tuesday night. Following his historic performance against the Kings on Sunday, Steph Curry is sure to carry this momentum into this series against his biggest rival.
