Injuries are the worst aspect of professional sports. Nobody could deny that. In fact, NBA history is littered with promising careers that injuries cut short.

You don’t have to be a seasoned historian to know the names. 

Sometimes, they ruin what was obviously about to be a storied career. We’re thinking of players like Derrick Rose and Grant Hill.

Other times, they won’t allow a career to get started. We’re thinking of Greg Oden. 

Hopefully, we won’t be adding the name Zion Williamson to that list. For that matter, LaMelo Ball is a significant injury risk as well.
