Stop us if you’ve heard this before: James Harden may join a new team this NBA offseason. 

It feels like an annual tradition. For the last several years, Harden has been seeing greener grass on the other side. With that said, this time, he’d be heading to the side he started on. 

Yes, it’s been rumored that Harden is considering a return to the Houston Rockets. Such a decision would be practically unprecedented.

Harden would be leaving an MVP candidate in Joel Embiid to join one of the worst teams in the NBA. 

It’s a decision that would certainly leave the Philadelphia 76ers in the lurch. With that said, if the Sixers don’t make a deep playoff run this season, they may want to entertain making big moves whether Harden stays or goes.
