Players like Jaylen Brown don’t become available very often. Why would they? Brown will be a strong All-NBA candidate this season. He’s only 26.
Rebuilding teams and contending teams alike would want him – why wouldn’t the Celtics?
Well, they probably would. Unfortunately for them, there are ample reasons to speculate that Brown wants to be traded. If that’s true, the Celtics may be forced to consider moving him.
Still, they’ll want a win-now package in return. The Celtics are contenders, and we can assume they’d like to keep it that way.
Any team that wants to land him without moving their own star may have to angle for a three-team deal.
Could the Portland Trail Blazers arrange one?
