The NBA playoffs are on the horizon. Many difficult questions around the league will finally be answered.
With that said, the stakes are different for different teams. Some veteran teams will contemplate making major changes this summer. By contrast, most younger teams will use a little patience.
For example, look at the Memphis Grizzlies. This team could get swept in the first round of this year’s playoffs.
They still won’t blow up their core – Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. will be Grizzlies next season.
On the other hand, the Miami Heat may look at some more significant changes if they don’t make a deep playoff run. This core is aging – if they don’t give their front office results, they may look at a big trade.
