ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski is almost never wrong. Almost never.
When he reports something, we assume that it’s true. We call it a “Woj bomb” for a reason. Whatever Wojnarowski tweets is presumed to be a fact.
So, when he tweeted that the Los Angeles Lakers had acquired Buddy Hield one summer, we believed him. Wojnarowski is never wrong. In this rare instance, he was.
Or, at least, the Lakers reneged on the move. They ended up trading for Russell Westbrook instead.
It’s possible that they regret that decision to this day.
Could they make up for the lost time by acquiring Hield this summer?
