We don’t know. We will say that politically speaking, Isaac may welcome a move to Salt Lake City.
That’s a moot point. Isaac is likely the most injury-prone player in the NBA. He’s mostly here to make the money work – the Jazz may be happy to gamble on him, but they’re not exactly trading for him here.
By contrast, Fultz should appeal to this team. He’s young, and they don’t have a young point guard on their roster. Fultz could be their floor general of the future.
Still, the Jazz’s main incentive here is a pair of first-round picks. Losing Markkanen stings, but after a season where they missed the play-in tournament, the Jazz can afford a step back.
