It’s been a strange 2022-23 season for the Utah Jazz. Many observers expected this to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. They haven’t been.
The Jazz have been surprisingly competitive. Others would suggest that this isn’t a positive development.
The upcoming draft features Victor Wembanyama, one of the brightest prospects in NBA history. Utah’s chances of selecting the French phenom are extremely low.
With that said, perhaps the Jazz don’t want to go that route in a rebuild. They may be more inclined to stay competitive.
In that event, they ought to eventually consolidate their fortune of first-round picks and trade for a star.
Could that star be Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves?
