NBA players make a lot of money. Some would argue that they make too much. At the same time, they’re paid in relation to the revenue they generate.
The NBA makes a lot of money, too. Still, some players probably are a little overpaid.
Usually, we’re talking about players who earned a big contract at some point, only for their play to decline.
For example, look at Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets. He’s on a substantial contract, and he’s fallen out of the team’s rotation entirely.
It would be fair to say that Simmons is overpaid.
Could the Indiana Pacers acquire him anyway?
