Atlanta Hawks Receive: G/F Jaylen Brown, G Payton Pritchard 

Perhaps Brown doesn’t feel at home in Boston. Would he possibly like to go home? 

Of course, the Atlanta Hawks won’t acquire him simply for his roots in their city. It has to make basketball sense. Luckily for both parties, it absolutely does. 

After all, the Hawks have struggled to make their new backcourt of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray fit. It may be that both function best as primary ball-handler.

If so, flipping Murray for a shot-creating, 3-and-D wing like Brown makes good sense.

Meanwhile, the Celtics could actually use a primary ball-handler. Murray should be a great fit with this group. Meanwhile, Collins could be in line to replace the aging Al Horford. 

On the other hand, if the Celtics would prefer a lower-usage ball-handler, they may prefer the next deal.
