
There are two sides to an NBA basketball court. Some fans seem to forget that.
Fair enough. Offense provides the most entertainment value. Stars who can create baskets for themselves and others get most of the spotlight. Those are the guys the average fan pays to see.
At the same time, defense is just as critical to a team’s success. With that in mind, two-way players are among the most valuable players in the NBA.
With that said, on a team without an offensive star, they’ve only got so much value.Â
Just look at the Brooklyn Nets. This team is floundering without an offensive focal point. If they don’t turn this season around soon, look for them to target one this summer.
