With that said, there is still debate over how a big man should function. Most would agree that it’s best if they can protect the rim. Do they need to also space the floor?
Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers does both. Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks only does one, but he has become an elite rim protector.
