We can’t promise you they’ll work out. It’s a reality of life in the NBA that some highly touted prospects will be busts. It’s unfortunate, but it’s a fact.
With that said, some just take a little longer to live up to their draft status.
A player can look like a bust, and begin to break out a little later than they were expected to.
For example, look at Markelle Fultz of the Orlando Magic. For a while, he looked like a certain bust. In 2022-23, he seems to be breaking out.
Could the Magic send him to the San Antonio Spurs this summer?
