Of course, some players don’t have a discernible flaw. They just don’t have outstanding strengths, either.
You know the type. These players are jacks of all trades, and masters of none. It’s not that they’ve got a glaring hole in their game – they just don’t have any standout skills, either.
RJ Barrett of the Knicks is one such player. He’s a decent shot-creator, a fine playmaker, and a solid defender. He’s just not exceptional in any one facet of the game.
In all likelihood, the Knicks were expecting more from the player that they selected with the third overall pick.

Yet, it would be hard to call Barrett a bust, either. Once again, he lands somewhere in between extremes.
