Why The Los Angeles Lakers Do The Deal 

It’s been a difficult year for the Los Angeles Lakers. At this point in the season, their title odds are looking slim. 

Yet, there is a glimmer of hope. When healthy, James has looked as good as he ever has. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis has had his most productive season in years. 

The Lakers wasted too much time fiddling around with the Russell Westbrook experiment. Now, it’s over. With one major upgrade, they could be back in the title picture next season. 

Grant would be that upgrade. He’d be joining Davis and James to form one of the best frontcourts in the NBA.
