This deal has the Warriors beginning that process. At the same time, they’re not outright admitting defeat. Caruso is a very productive player, and if Ball can his body right, he will be as well.
On the other hand, if he can’t, he’s an expiring contract. Caruso, productive or not, is an affordable one.
