With that said, some would suggest that the age of dynasties may be dying. 

It certainly does feel like league-wide parity is increasing. Even the Warriors have only won back-to-back titles once – their dynasty has been more of a prolonged affair. 

All of which likely owes to player empowerment. Players move around so often these days that it’s hard for any one team to maintain that type of advantage.

Once they do, it’s likely that a group of players will join forces to topple them.
