The most glaring one is obviously Brown’s free agency. If he leaves before Boston can get anything for him, that would be a potential disaster. It’s not hard to envision a Jayson Tatum trade request coming next. 

Meanwhile, Williams III is looking increasingly injury prone. If he continues to earn that reputation, his value could decrease too. This deal has the Celtics moving him and replacing him at the same time. 

That replacement just happens to be a significant offensive upgrade. In fact, Adebayo could be the best passer on this team from day one.
