It’s not always necessary. Unhappy players have had great success with the teams they were unhappy with before. Still, the exception doesn’t necessarily prove the rule.
For that reason, an unhappy player’s trade request is often granted. Teams don’t want bad chemistry in their locker room. If a player wants out, a team will usually accommodate them in time.
We’re not sure that OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors wants out. With that said, rumors have been growing louder in recent years.
It may be that the dynamic two-way wing is looking for a new home.
